01The unit runs but the space keeps getting warmer
Possible branches include airflow restriction, dirty heat-transfer surfaces, compressor or refrigeration-circuit performance, economizer or outdoor-air position, controls, staging, or a load the system can no longer handle.
02The unit starts and stops repeatedly
Controls, electrical faults, safeties, pressure conditions, sensors, airflow problems, or equipment failures can all produce cycling or lockout behavior.
03One zone is wrong while the rest is fine
The problem may be the unit serving that area, a damper or control issue, duct distribution, airflow, a sensor, or a change in how the space is being used.
04Several units struggle at the same time
That can widen the investigation to building load, schedules, controls, ventilation, power conditions, or operating changes rather than one isolated failed component.
